JLPT N4 - tearimasu - 〜て あります
This form is used to comment on the state of something. The something has been put into a state and is still in the state. Who or what put it in that state is sometimes unimportant and omitted.
Key Examples
- 電気 が つけて あります。
- The light is on. (The light has been switched on.)
- 私は ラグビー が して あります。
- I have played rugby.
